Inside the Music Industry, Part 2

The music industry has become nothing than a tireless competition as the consumers reciprocates and critiques the artist’s material and craft while the music executive’s mold and directs the artist while simultaneously pressuring them into a specific music category. The political aspect of the music industry can be a very frustrating subject matter. It’s more than just singing and looking attractive on stage. You have to be aware of the business perspective of the industry. When you’re presenting your music to the world, it can be a challenge…you can find yourself lost in a journey encircled with rivalry against other artist for the high album sales and top chart positions. As an amateur artist, it is easy to be deprived of your right mind and misguided by the promising looks of fame. You don’t have to become a prisoner of your dream with the worries that I stated from above. In order to make peace with the demanding politics of the industry, you have to reconnect with the love of music: re-obtain that drive that forces you to express your inner emotions through song. The mission statement of my artistry is to spread relatable messages on life’s lessons through thoughtful musical entertainment, literature dealings and political liberty. This is what I will reinforce to break ground in a mechanical system that is design to crack your spirit. Music is all about trying to catch a little bit of truth throughout your life. Don’t forget who you are and allow yourself to be painted on someone’s account. This is how you can be forgotten lost. And we all hear about those horror stories of those one hit wonders…Hollywood is not for punks.
